Are you interested in submitting your book for consideration? Please review the following guidelines.

Phoenix Crate features books that are:

• Fantasy
• Noblebright
• Clean – no more than PG-13 and preferably closer to G or PG in language, violence, and sexual content
  • No strong profanity, no or extremely minimal milder swears, no use of the Lord’s name in vain
  • Nothing spicy or smutty at all (chaste kisses at most)
  • No/minimal gore
• No LGBTQ+ content
• No witchcraft (magic is fine). If you’re not sure where the line is, please feel free to get in touch and we’ll chat about it.
• Published to a professional standard. We love indie authors! The majority of the books we feature are by indies. However, we do require featured books to be edited and formatted to a professional standard and have a professional-quality cover.
• If our books were movies, they would have content and language similar to that of the movies: The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, The Lord of the Rings, Howl’s Moving Castle, Song of the Sea, Pride and Prejudice (BBC miniseries AND 2005 version!), The Scarlet Pimpernel, Sense and Sensibility (1995), and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
